Our women are very strong – it’s true. Among all our volunteers who help us with the hard physical work of unloading the truck with humanitarian aid, there are a lot of women. Many of them came to Lithuania with nothing, so they are very mindful of other refugees they help with humanitarian aid. So after hard physical work they are going to the office, where they help to sort things and clothes by categories and sizes.
However, each trip to the office and back, to the warehouse and home – expenses up to 60 euros per month for each woman. It would be cheaper and more economical to buy a bus pass, which costs 29 euros. Although it costs money too. We would like to support 20 women volunteers who help in unloading and moving humanitarian aid, who come to the office and help sort out the humanitarian aid.
We would like to buy 20 monthly passes for these women volunteers who help other refugees. 29 euros for 1 pass would give each of them the opportunity to manage everything and very much save their family budget. One donation of 29 euros will give a citywide pass to one of our volunteers. Please choose whatever amount you think is possible for you.
As always, we promise to come back with a photo report of the passes purchased and given to our volunteers. We can do this during the whole process of raising money as soon as the amount is available to buy a new pass.
